In Trezor they announced a phishing attack, as a result of which hackers were able to redirect crypto purse users to a fiction site and steal confidential information from users. Such a message appeared on the company’s official blog.
When going to a phishing site, users saw a message stating that an error had occurred and it was necessary to enter a secret seed-phrase. After entering the key, hackers obtained access to personal information of users.
Representatives Trezor warned their users from entering their secret keys in the computer, advising to enter seed-phrases exclusively on the hardware purse:
“Always check all operations on the Trezor device only. You should trust only the device’s screen and what is written there … Never tell anyone your private and personal data. We will never ask for your seed-phrase. It can only be done by Trezor, but it will do it in a safe way. “
The fake site at the moment has already been deleted by the hosting provider. Information about the number of deceived users and the extent of hacking has not yet been reported.
