During the TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2018 conference, American developers presented an instant messenger, which in the near future could become the main competitor of the “brainchild” of Pavel Durov Telegram. The new product is called Stealthy IM and is an encrypted messenger, which, according to the developers, can be considered as a “decentralized WeChat”, whose number of users is more than one billion people.
Many have already noted the apparent similarity of the designs and logos of Telegram and Stealthy.
The creators of the new service emphasize that the messenger is built on a blockchain that provides completely decentralized storage of information. It is worth noting that by default all data is stored in cloud storage, such as Azure from Microsoft, but in the process of setting the resource “by itself” the user can change the storage location of information as it is convenient.

Stealthy IM is currently available on iOS and Android and is free for private users, however, in the future, it is planned to charge a certain fee for certain functions and services of the application.
